Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter made a big impact on Apple Music listeners in 2024, according to the streaming service’s year-end charts. Lamar tops the global music list with his hit song “Not Like Us.” He released the song in May, and it stayed at the top of the Global Daily Top 100 for more than six weeks, making it his longest-running No. 1.
Benson Boone ranks second with his ballad “Beautiful Things.” Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Espresso,” Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer” follow him in the rankings.
Swift has seven songs on the global music chart and leads the Top Songwriters chart. Both Drake and Morgan Wallen have eight songs on the chart, while SZA and Future each have six songs, including “Snooze,” which is in the No. 11 spot.
In the Global Shazam charts, “Beautiful Things” is in the top position. Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” is second, followed by FloyyMenor and CrisMJ’s “Gata Only,” Cyril’s remix of Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence,” and Artemas’ “I Like the Way You Kiss Me.”
Apple Music also introduced new features to Apple Music Replay. This allows users to look back at their most-played songs, albums, and artists from this year. They can check their listening habits for each month of 2024, see if they have a favorite artist streak, and find out when they first listened to their top songs, albums, and artists.
